On that day, Yosuke knocks on the door of a villa in Kamakura, where the famous local billionaire Gentaro Kōzuki (played by Kinya Kitaōji) resides. Gentaro appreciates the young man's talent and character, so he rents a room to the somewhat reclusive Yosuke. Near the Kōzuki home lives Kyoko Sanada's family, Gentaro's childhood friend. They seem to be a wonderful family, but suddenly face a calamity. One night, a fire destroys the Sanada home, and only Haruka manages to escape.
