Mickey (played by Brian Bonsall) is an innocent and carefree boy whose parents left him forever at a very young age. Over the years, Mickey has been passed from one foster home to another. Strangely, every family that has adopted Mickey has encountered an accident shortly thereafter, and no one suspects that these incidents have anything to do with Mickey, as he is only 9 years old. This time, Mickey arrives at a new foster home, where he meets an older sister named Jesse (played by Josie Bissett).
