"Werewolf Game: Mad Continent" is a drama film directed by Ariake Manya, starring Asakawa Rina. This film is the sixth installment in the "Werewolf Game" series and premiered on July 15. Previous stars of the series include Sakuraba Nanami and Tsuchiya Tao. With her cute expressions and curvy figure, Asakawa Rina has recently appeared in "Saki" and "14 Nights," making this her first challenge in a feature film. The film is adapted from a novel by Kawakami Ryo, based on the "Werewolf Game" which involves finding clues through conversation to identify the werewolf. It tells the story of high school students who are kidnapped and imprisoned, participating in a life-or-death gambling game where only one can emerge as the survivor. Asakawa Rina plays the protagonist Koike Moe, with other cast members including Matsunaga Arisa, Saki Hiroki, Kadokita Shutaro, Kurihara Goro, Kinoshita Aika, and Sakata Shogo. Asakawa Rina, acting in her first lead role in a feature film, said, "I've acted in quite a few productions before, but being the lead myself is still very nerve-wracking! The pressure is great, but the shooting process was fun. My character Koike Moe actively participates in the werewolf game; she sees some rumors about the game online and finds it thrilling. In the real game world, she feels uneasy and scared, but after making some friends, she gradually becomes stronger." Regarding the atmosphere on set, Asakawa Rina mentioned, "When we were shooting, everyone was very focused and engaged, especially during the voting segments. The first voting scene took ten hours to film, the second seven hours, and the third six hours to complete. Although we laughed and talked during breaks, the mood felt entirely different once we started shooting. However, my character's personality is quite different from mine. I don’t usually express my weaknesses and insecurities, but at the beginning of the film, I had to portray Moe's unease and fear. After meeting Matsunaga Arisa's character, Ayano, she gradually grows stronger, and I needed to delicately convey the changes in her emotions."
