In an accidental encounter, Nobita (voiced by Noriko Ohara) and Doraemon (voiced by Nobuyo Oyama) pass through a secret time-space tunnel and enter an ancient civilization's realm in the forest—the Kingdom of Maya. There, they meet Dio (voiced by Megumi Ogata), who looks exactly like Nobita. Dio is the prince of the Kingdom of Maya. Prince Dio's mother has fallen into a deep sleep due to the curse of the witch Natira (voiced by Junko Takeuchi). To save his mother, Prince Dio must defeat Natira, so he trains in the forest. Learning about modern Japan from Nobita, Dio becomes interested in Japan, hoping to switch identities with Nobita and train there. Nobita becomes the prince, and the prince becomes Nobita, each leading different lives. Eventually, Dio meets Giann and others in Japan, and they work together to confront Natira. Will they be able to defeat Natira and save Dio's mother...? This film was made to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Doraemon's creation and is the 21st installment of the Doraemon movie series.
