24-year-old heiress Amanda has a social anxiety disorder, and she decides to find her childhood friend Rebecca to rekindle their past friendship. This film is the debut feature of Italian director Carolina Cavalli, who also wrote the screenplay. Through narrated dialogue, it reveals the protagonist's alienation from her surroundings, using a Don Quixote-like bizarre narrative to delicately depict the life crises of two "lost generation" girls. With extreme close-ups of their glances and body movements, set against bright and vivid colors, it uses the girls' friendship to shatter the coldness and hypocrisy of real life. Benedetta Porcaroli (from "Perfect Strangers") plays the lead role, vividly portraying the quirky girl's fragility and strength. It won the Best Film Award from the Jury at the 2022 Vilnius Italian Film Festival.
