"The Conde" is a black comedy/horror film inspired by modern Chilean history, envisioning a parallel universe. The film depicts Augusto Pinochet, a symbol of global fascism, as a vampire living in a crumbling mansion at the cold southern tip of the African continent, subsisting on a desire for evil. After living for two hundred and fifty years, Pinochet decides to stop drinking blood and relinquish the privilege of immortality. He can no longer bear to be called a thief by the world. Despite a disappointing family keen on using speculative means, he finds new inspiration through an unexpected relationship, continuing to live a life filled with vigor and counter-revolutionary passion.
