Bella (Kristen Stewart) turns 18, and her father gives her a gift. Edward (Robert Pattinson) openly expresses his love and tells her the legend of the Italian vampire royalty. Edward's red-haired sister Alice (Ashley Greene) throws a birthday party for Bella, during which Bella accidentally cuts her arm and is attacked by Jasper.
