The high school journey has come to an end, and all members of the Wildcats are ready to embrace a wonderful summer. Sharpay (Ashley Tisdale), who has long had a crush on Troy (Zac Efron), uses her father's influence to help Troy get a job at the luxurious club run by her family, thus giving him a chance to earn a college basketball scholarship. The condition is that Troy must give up the Wildcats and partner with Sharpay for the club's annual talent competition.
