Rose (played by Bette Midler) was never the popular one in the crowd from a young age; she held deep insecurities about her appearance and never experienced true friendship. At seventeen, Rose ignited a passion for music, joined a band, and made a name for herself in the San Francisco area. Her musical style is very spontaneous and wild, as she tries to vent her inner frustrations through screams and shouts. Over time, Rose's fame grew, and her dream of becoming a superstar finally came true. However, fame brought her not just money and benefits but also pressure and pain. She indulged her desires, succumbing to the pleasures of a hedonistic lifestyle, and all of it stemmed from the deep-seated feeling that she was still an unloved child.
