Disney is preparing to produce a new film [Flora and the Squirrel Hero], which will premiere on Disney's upcoming streaming platform "Disney DTC" next year. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Kate DiCamillo (which won the Newbery Medal) and revolves around the story of a little girl and a super-powered squirrel. Directed by Lina Khan ([Tiger Hunter]), with the screenplay by Brad Copeland ([The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle]). Disney has previously stated that it will create four or five films each year for Disney DTC, which will officially launch later next year.
