The summer vacation has arrived. Grown-up Susan and Peter are living in America with their parents, while Lucy (Georgie Henley) and Edmund (Skandar Keynes) are staying at their aunt's house. They are not happy about it because there's an annoying cousin, Eustace (Will Poulter), there. One day, a painting depicting a ship at sea comes to life, and the water overflows, pulling Lucy, Edmund, and their little cousin into the ocean of the Narnia world. Fortunately, they are rescued by Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes) on a large ship, who is on a quest to find the old lords of the kingdom, and the four embark on a new adventure together. This film is the third installment in the Chronicles of Narnia series, adapted from the fourth book of the same name, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
