Tom (José Garcia) is a plastic surgeon living in Paris, and in front of women yearning for beauty, he appears as a creator. However, for Tom, the repetitive nature of his daily life tires him out, leading him to consider escape. Julia (Caroline Vigneaux) is Tom's wife, who is pregnant and about to give birth. Even in this special moment, Tom decides to take her and their two mischievous children on a vacation to a village in southern France. This was supposed to be a warm family trip, but just before leaving, Julia's flamboyant and carefree grandfather (André Dussollier) suddenly decides to join them. To make matters worse, Tom discovers that the cruise control feature of his prized sports car malfunctions shortly after they set off.
