Richie (Antonio Banderas), who has lived in an orphanage since he was three years old, has been completely unaware of the outside world for over twenty years, trapped in psychiatric hospitals and care facilities, making him very naive, direct, and reckless. After being approved by the doctors of the psychiatric hospital to reintegrate into society and live a different life, Richie feels the spark of life reignite.
