In an apartment, two sisters live on different floors. The elder sister, Ruoxing (played by Zhu Zhiying), is a writer, while the younger sister, Ruoyi (played by Zhang Juning), is a photographer. Both are busy with their careers and lead a calm life. One day, Ruoyi accidentally captures a joyful scene of a couple, later discovering that the woman is having an affair behind her husband's back. This piques her curiosity, and she deliberately investigates the woman's life. Ruoyi shares this experience with her sister, which also intrigues Ruoxing. Coincidentally, Ruoxing is experiencing a creative block and decides to incorporate this affair into her novel. However, Ruoyi accidentally discovers that the plot in her sister's novel seems to mirror the experiences of that couple in the following days. She realizes that her sister is keeping something from her, and the two sisters inevitably begin to affect the lives of the strangers…
