"Poster Master" is a documentary film about Hong Kong artist Mr. Ruán Dàyǒng, covering his life, work, artistic achievements, and his influence and contributions to Chinese-language film culture. Ruán Dàyǒng was born in Zhejiang Province in 1941 and moved to Hong Kong with his father in the 1950s. He gained fame in 1976 with his hand-painted poster for the film "Half a Pint, Half a Pint," and created over 200 posters thereafter. Notable works include kung fu comedy films featuring Bruce Lee, the Shaw Brothers, Anthony Chan, Stephen Chow, Jackie Chan, and Sammo Hung.
