Furious, Soo-young secretly investigates her husband’s company and learns that his affair partner is a young intern named Soo-ji (played by Shim Eun-kyung). She begins to approach the girl in a "sisterly" manner. Soo-young takes Soo-ji out for fun, patiently listens to her hidden secrets, and soon earns the girl’s trust, who views her as her only confidant. Soo-ji confesses her worries about loving a married man, while Soo-young plays both sides, engaging with the girl and proposing separation to Ji-sik, which is actually a ploy to manipulate him. The plan seems flawless at first, but Ji-sik begins to feel that Soo-ji is being reckless, and he doesn’t want to lose his wife. Just when Ji-sik is on the verge of reconsidering, Soo-ji discovers she is pregnant. Throughout this process, witnessing the man's weakness and hesitation, Soo-young also starts to waver, feeling a growing pity for the innocent Soo-ji…
