Dai Miyamoto (voiced by Yuki Yamada), a high school student living in Sendai, is deeply fascinated by jazz music and practices the baritone saxophone alone by the river every day. After graduating, he moves to Tokyo and lives in an apartment with his high school classmate, Shunji Tamada (voiced by Amane Okayama). One day, Dai meets the same-aged pianist, Yuki Sawabe (voiced by Shota Mamiya), at an exhibition space and invites him to form a band. Influenced by Dai, Shunji, who starts learning the drums, also joins to create a three-member band called "JASS."
