Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Emile Hirsch, Paz Vega ([Talk to Her]), and Jeremy Piven ([Edge of Tomorrow]) will star in the noir thriller [American Night] (working title). The film marks Alessio Jim Della Valle's directorial debut, with Valle also writing the screenplay. The story follows Michael Rubino (Hirsch), who has just become the head of a New York mafia, but his biggest dream is to dedicate his life to painting and become a great artist. Art dealer John Kaplan (Meyers) seems to live in chaos, yet he possesses the keenest eye for spotting forgeries from around the world. When Andy Warhol's "Pink Marilyn" is stolen, the two strangers cross paths, turning their lives upside down.
