The entire film has no dialogue, and all the characters have no names. The wife (played by Lee Eun-woo) learns of her husband (played by Jo Jae-hyun)'s infidelity, while their son (played by Seo Young-soo) witnesses a passionate scene between his father and the grocery store owner's wife (also played by Lee Eun-woo) in the car. In a fit of rage and despair, the wife attempts to castrate her sleeping husband but fails. Overcome with anger, she turns the knife on her son, and amidst his screams, the family is completely shattered. The husband takes the son to the hospital, while the wife leaves home and disappears. Time flies by, and dragging his broken body, the son grows up slowly. He finds his father's lover, leading to a tense yet slightly ambiguous relationship between them. A group of delinquents breaks into the grocery store, violating the owner and forcing the son to comply. After the incident is exposed, the son is imprisoned. The father discovers that rubbing stones against the skin creates sensations akin to sexual pleasure and teaches this method to his son in prison. Between pain and desire, the son’s character gradually becomes distorted.
