Ichinai Rinko (played by Sayaka Tashiro), a student at the private Bai Baihe Chuan Women's High School, has been pampered since childhood. However, she is kind-hearted and optimistic, winning the affection of those around her. Unfortunately, fate has other plans, and one day when Rinko returns home from school, she finds her house empty. Her mother has filed for divorce and eloped with her lover, while her father has hidden away to escape his debts. With no options left, Rinko is forced to live a wandering life.
