Detailed introduction

This film (drama)Also known as怪猫トルコ風呂,is aJapanProducerwomen sex,At1975Released in year 。The dialogue language isJapanese,Current Douban rating5.7(For reference only)。
In 1975, directed by Kazuhiko Yamaguchi. What's interesting is the slightly altered setting based on Edgar A. Poe's "The Black Cat." In Poe's "The Black Cat," a cat is gruesomely buried in the wall, while in this work, a woman's corpse is buried. And the curse begins with the blood of the black cat on the wall. It was quite an intriguing setup. A story of a bathhouse... Yukino (Naomi Tani), having decided to leave that life due to the nationwide abolishment of the red-light district, unfortunately returns to the newly opened Turkish bath "Maihime" to pay off her boyfriend Shikanai's (Hideo Muromata) debts. However, Shikanai was only using Yukino as a cash cow. Furthermore, he even takes the virginity of Yukino's younger sister Mayumi (Misa Ohara), who has just moved to Tokyo from the Tohoku region. After becoming the mistress of the Turkish bath's owner, Shikanai, seeing Yukino as useless, tortures her to death and buries her in the wall. Mayumi, believing she knows the entire truth, sees Yukino's beloved cat, Kuro, appearing and disappearing mysteriously. Determined to uncover the truth, Mayumi also starts working at the Turkish bath and becomes the top earner in the establishment... This work was a strangely wonderful combination of horror and eroticism. Rated as an adult film, it is filled with erotic and grotesque depictions. In the scenes where Yukino is tied up and tortured, it reminded me of "Imprint / Bokké, Kyotee." Additionally, the artwork in the room of Kakimura's daughter, Natsuyo (Terumi Higashi), was strikingly similar to the house depicted in the animated scenes of "Kill Bill." (It’s not hard to imagine Tarantino happily giving instructions to Japanese animators.) Throughout "Turkish Dance," there are sounds resembling the theme song of "GeGeGe no Kitaro," which were amusing as well. During the screening I attended, many people seemed to love this movie, and laughter echoed throughout, adding to the enjoyment. The action scenes with the black cat were also enjoyable. It looked like an ordinary cat was being thrown around or flying through the air. The scenes where the ghost cat emerges from the wall or appears with lightning grew endearing every time, making me laugh each time. The appearance of Shin-Go Yamashiro (aka "Waka Danna") was too delightful. In between horror and gruesome scenes, there were comedic parts that also mixed in eroticism. The pacing was well-balanced, making it comfortably entertaining to watch—just the right amount without being too overwhelming. It was a perfect match, like salt on watermelon or a pinch of salt in red bean paste. By the way, what's the deal with Awa Odori? LOL Is it really something that feels good? It looks amusing visually though!
