Richard (Amitabh Bachchan) and his wife Naini (Jaya Bhaduri) have been married for many years and are raising two sons, Rahul (Shahrukh Khan) and Rohan (Hrithik Roshan), with endless love and care, even though Rahul is not their biological child. Rahul learned about his origins at an early age and is very grateful to his parents who treat him as their own.
