The story takes place in the 1880s, where Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård), who grew up in the jungle, has long left the Congo and returned to human society. He marries his beloved Jane (Margot Robbie) and lives a happy life in London. One day, Tarzan, designated as a trade emissary, returns to his homeland—the Congo jungle.
