This film mainly tells the story of Linda Lovelace, the female lead of "Deep Throat", focusing on her life before and after the making of the film. Linda Boreman (Amanda Seyfried) was an ordinary girl from Florida, but her life changed completely after meeting bartender Chuck Traynor (Peter Sarsgaard). The two became immersed in a tumultuous sexual game from which they could not escape, leading Linda to run away from home and marry Chuck. Soon, Chuck was arrested, and the couple fell into a financial crisis, prompting Chuck to force Linda to film pornography to make money. He introduced Linda to filmmakers Nat Laurendi and Anthony Romano, showcasing her special skills through a homemade video. Linda began filming "Deep Throat," which later became a phenomenon in the history of adult films, propelling Linda to fame as she changed her name to Linda Lovelace.
