"Hot Teacher Onizuka (played by Takashi Sorimachi) is invited to a beautiful and quaint town in Hokkaido—Horonobe—to serve as a substitute teacher in Class 2C at the Northern Bunkukan Academy for three weeks. Although the time is short, the challenges are numerous. First, there are two students with suicidal tendencies: the shy and introverted Raku Ichikawa (played by Shusaku Kasahara), who is hopelessly in love with his classmate Ayano Katsuragi (played by Reina Tanaka) and wishes to end it all; Ayano feels isolated due to her wealthy background and is deeply despairing.
