Tsujii Takashi (played by Taizo Harada) and Keiko (played by Rina Dan) are a married couple of ten years, working at a large construction company. They treat each other with respect and their love remains strong. One day, Takashi returns home with a mysterious suitcase, looking very anxious. He claims he is going on a business trip to Kumamoto with confidential information, but Keiko accidentally discovers that the suitcase contains a large sum of money.
