Little Dragon (played by Shih Xiaolong) is sent down the mountain by his master to seek Buddhist connections. It is his first time in a big city, and unfortunately, he gets separated from his senior brother. Fortunately, he meets a homeless boy, Fat Worm (played by Hao Shaowen), who helps him avoid hunger and cold. Seeing Little Dragon's martial arts skills, Fat Worm decides to follow him. They then encounter a collector who heroically saves a woman, Yi Shan (played by Yuen Biao). Yi Shan is moved by Little Dragon's determination and decides to help him find the Buddhist connection. It turns out that Yi Shan's brother (played by Xu Jinjian) is the leader of a gang smuggling cultural relics, and what they are selling is the stolen Buddha head from Little Dragon's master's temple. After finding out, Little Dragon and the girl saved by Yi Shan, Xiao Xuan (played by Vivian Hsu), set off on the journey to retrieve the Buddha head…
