An 11-year-old boy, Chava (played by Carlos Padilla), lives with his mother and sisters while his father has left home and is missing. Life at home is extremely difficult, and death constantly threatens them. Chava, who should be attending school, is forced to become a child soldier wielding an assault rifle. From then on, death becomes the closest and most terrifying companion for these innocent children...
