Qiu Jie was also framed and imprisoned. Eight years later, Uncle Fan, Ji Yi, and Xiao Qian (played by Wu Qianlian) run a gambling den on a small wooden boat, preparing diligently for the upcoming Asian gambling competition, while Zhan Yongfei learns that Uncle Fan possesses one of the gambling god plaques and forces him to his death. Having returned from prison, Qiu Jie, upon learning of Uncle Fan's demise, desires to live a normal life and withdraw from the martial world, but Zhan Yongfei repeatedly entangles him, leading to Qiu Jie losing an arm and Ji Yi going blind.
