Based on the manga of the same name, it tells the story of Takemichi, who is down on his luck and lives in a run-down apartment. He learns from the television that his ex-girlfriend from middle school, Hinata, has been tragically killed in a gang conflict. One day, while waiting for a train on the platform, he falls onto the tracks. Just when he thinks he's done for, he suddenly finds himself back in middle school 12 years ago.
