Original Zhen Xia (Qian Xiaohao) is urgently called upon by the police to intervene in a hostage kidnapping case. Female reporter Rainbow (Zhang Manyu) disrupts the police's arrangements to obtain first-hand information. Fortunately, Original Zhen Xia manages to turn the situation around, successfully completing the rescue operation, but Rainbow becomes a nuisance to him. After breaking free from Rainbow, Original Zhen Xia encounters a Thai man, Black Dragon (Di Wei), at his home, who asks him to return to Northern Thailand to lift a curse placed upon him. That night, the curse on Original Zhen Xia erupts, and he has to seek help from his mentor and friend, Wesley (Zhou Runfa). It turns out that a year ago, in Thailand, Original Zhen Xia met a woman named Bajiu (Cui Xiuli). The great shaman of Bajiu's tribe (Xu Jinjian) used her as a sacrificial offering. Original Zhen Xia saved Bajiu, but they both fell prey to the shaman's magic and were cursed. A year later, the curse strikes, and Original Zhen Xia asks Wesley and Bai Su (Hu Huizhong) to go to Thailand with him.
