The film tells the story of the retired assassin Ye Zhen, who accidentally kills the blind woman Jian Xi's father during a mission. Filled with regret, he approaches Jian Xi to atone for his sin and gradually falls in love with this pure and kind-hearted woman. Ye Zhen decides to return to the world of assassins to earn money for Jian Xi's eye treatment.
