Douban official site for "Guanyin Mountain": http://site.douban.com/114064/ In a small county in Sichuan, three confused young people wander: the girl Nan Feng (Fan Bingbing), who seeks to escape family troubles; Ding Bo (Chen Bolin), who harbors resentment towards his father (Fang Li); and the wealthy but emotionally neglected Fei Zao (Feilong). They gather every day to enjoy life and taste the joys and losses of youth. Due to renovations of their rented house, they move in with the Peking opera actress Chang Yueqin (Sylvia Chang). She is a woman with a troubled fate, whose unfair treatment by the heavens causes her to feel alienated from those around her, especially these young people who share her roof, separated by a vast gap in both age and experience. Each of them is already troubled in their lives, and the friction with Chang Yueqin adds to their woes. However, as time goes on, these lonely individuals begin to find small warmth in each other... Best Actress at the 23rd Tokyo International Film Festival 2010 - Fan Bingbing. Han Han and Fan Xiaoxuan, two heavyweight figures, join forces to create the theme song for the film.
