Queen Alcmene (Roxanne McKee) cannot endure her husband Amphitryon’s (Scott Adkins) brutal rule over the people. She prays to the gods for help and gives birth to a son, Heracles (Kellan Lutz), who bears the responsibility of overthrowing the tyranny of the king. However, Heracles knows nothing of his mission. The king favors his eldest son, Iphicles (Liam Garrigan), but scorns Heracles. Later, Heracles falls in love with the beautiful princess Hebe (Gaia Weiss), but the king promises the river princess to Iphicles. Although Iphicles appears to treat his brother generously, he is secretly treacherous. To be with the one he loves, Heracles decides to elope with Princess Hebe, but he is intercepted by guards, facing a harsh punishment.
