During World War II, Hitler summoned archaeologists from around the world to search for the "Lost Ark"—the biblical artifact that guided the Hebrews in their communication with God. Hitler intended to use it to protect the Nazi war effort. To thwart Hitler's plan, Dr. Indiana Jones (played by Harrison Ford) travels to Nepal, desperately digging for clues while also contending with relentless Nazi agents. Armed with extraordinary intelligence, unmatched courage, and indomitable bravery, Jones finally discovers the sun staff that indicates the location of the Ark and subsequently finds the Ark itself. Just as success seems assured, the Nazi army seizes the victory and leaves Jones and his companions trapped in a snake pit!
