His top disciple, Wu Yunlong (played by Li Yuwen), vows to avenge his master and heads to the Central Plains with Chen Wei's only daughter, Chen Xuejiao (played by Lin Quan). On the arena, wandering martial artist Sima Jian (played by Zhao Changjun) battles the Japanese samurai and gains the upper hand, but the samurai outnumber him and swarm him. Unable to contain his anger, Wu Yunlong jumps onto the stage, but in the chaos, he is killed by a hidden weapon from the Japanese samurai. At Chen Wei's grave, Sima Jian reveals to Chen Xuejiao that her father and Chen Wei were sworn brothers and uncovers that Chen Wei's second disciple, Lei Huacai (played by Zang Zhiguo), is in cahoots with the Japanese. Chen Xuejiao, almost falling victim to a plot, embarks on a perilous journey to Wudang Mountain to avenge her father...
