In the tropical jungles of Southeast Asia, Long Fei (played by Chen Hu) is on a secret mission with his partner Pahuy (played by Tony Jaa), collaborating with a strike team for humanitarian rescue. Unexpectedly, the person they desperately save turns out to be a notorious crime lord, Collins (played by Scott Adkins). After being rescued, Collins locks all witnesses in a dungeon at a secret base and blows it up as he leaves. Long Fei and Pahuy narrowly escape with their lives. The two men secretly plot revenge, but they are not the only ones seeking vengeance. Zaka (played by Iko Uwais) loses his wife innocently during this operation and mistakes Long Fei for the killer when they meet at an underground boxing venue. He fights to the death but is knocked out by Long Fei. Out of kindness, Long Fei and Pahuy take Zaka to their place to recover, and the three share drinks. However, the next morning, Zaka has vanished, and heavily armed police arrive, as Zaka has reported their participation in the underground boxing match. The two are taken to the police station. Tien Xiaoxian (played by Celina Jade), the daughter of a wealthy Chinese businessman, arrives in Mahazaya to promote a slum renovation plan. However, her plan infringes on the interests of local gangs, and she ends up being hunted down. Tien is forced to flee into the police station, only to find it is also not a safe haven. Collins and his mercenaries raid the police station, putting Tien in danger again. It is at that moment that Long Fei, imprisoned in the station, discovers the gang's plot and, together with Pahuy, helps Tien escape. The gang violently attacks the police station and frames Long Fei and Pahuy for it. With no other choice, they must flee with Tien Xiaoxian. Facing a high bounty from the gang, the three have nowhere to hide, and Zaka has joined Collins' team, making their loyalties unclear. Throughout their perilous journey, Tien builds trust with Long Fei and Pahuy, and Zaka discovers that the forces pursuing them are secretly manipulated by a woman with the surname Su, who is his true enemy.
