During World War II, a group of German soldiers finds themselves trapped in a village composed of women, children, and the elderly from both German and Russian backgrounds. At first, both sides cautiously maintain the illusion of peaceful coexistence, but when the trigger of death is pulled, their fragile trust is instantly shattered. The killing cascades like a line of dominoes, and the women, children, and the elderly begin to take up arms to resist the atrocities.
