At the Ti-Hu Grand Hotel, Manager Jin and Secretary Sun head to Biyun Temple to ask Master Yuan for guidance on making vegetarian dishes. At the same time, singer Liu Qianying and her daughter Manman also arrive at Biyun Temple, seeking the master's help to identify the family heirloom, the Tai Ping Qiu Lock. The story showcases Master Yuan intentionally losing in a competition against Japanese monk Xuanguang, which earns Xuanguang's respect as he recognizes Yuan's profound cultivation. Meanwhile, Zhang Desuo, who covets the treasure lock, feels that Yuan's presence may threaten his plan to steal the lock. After failing to steal the lock, he kidnaps a child. Master Yuan steps in to help, ultimately subduing Zhang Desuo and further cultivating his Buddhist nature through these events. This story blends different characters and plots, highlighting the Ti-Hu Grand Hotel staff's serious and responsible attitude towards work while also showcasing Master Yuan's wisdom and magnanimity in facing challenges and enemies.
