In order to acquire the legendary Tokugawa family's treasure worth two billion dollars, Lupin plans to steal the glass plate that holds the secret to the treasure from Inspector Zenigata (which is actually just a picture frame...). However, both of his attempts end in failure, and the glass plate ends up safely delivered to the buyer, Mike Suzuki, by Inspector Zenigata. While trying to interview Inspector Zenigata, who is responsible for security at the opening ceremony of the newly built Tokyo Water Park, female reporter Maria Isshiki (CV: Megumi Hayashibara) becomes entangled in Mike Suzuki's conspiracy. What is the true nature of the treasure? What is Mike Suzuki's scheme? A TV special from 1998 that is worth watching.
