The evil Dr. Claw (Tony Martin) is sentenced to prison, bringing fame to the detective G (French Stewart) who captured him. However, it doesn't last long as G discovers that many of his functions have begun to malfunction over time, leading to a series of troubles and resulting in his demotion. As if misfortune weren't enough, Dr. Claw escapes from prison and is concocting a greater scheme to destroy the entire city. To prevent this tragedy, the mayor creates a new robot detective, G2 (Elaine Hendrix), a smart and capable female robot who quickly steals the limelight from G. To maintain his position, G has no choice but to pretend to get along with G2 as they team up to track down Dr. Claw's whereabouts.
