Gong Zheng (played by Li Xiu-xian) is a royal police officer who, along with his friend Ma Kun (played by Anthony Wong), successfully cracked down on a very powerful crime syndicate, leading to the arrest of the syndicate's boss, Wang Bao (played by Lung Fong).
