For centuries, a powerful elite team has maintained peace across the vast universe. Each member wields a green energy ring, with green light as their source of power, and they are known as the "Green Lantern Corps." However, one day, reports of Green Lanterns being attacked and killed began to emerge from various parts of the universe. It turns out that the long-dormant evil warlord Parallax has awakened, seeking to seize the Green Lanterns' source of green energy, and he initiates a galaxy-wide hunt for the Green Lanterns. Meanwhile, on Earth, an exceptionally gifted yet arrogant test pilot named Hal (played by Ryan Reynolds) inadvertently acquires the green ring of a fallen Green Lantern, becoming the new Green Lantern tasked with protecting Earth. His unique human qualities set him apart from the other Green Lanterns. To defeat Parallax and protect Earth and humanity, Hal must overcome his fears and master his Green Lantern powers.
