The driver Xiao Wang (Jiang Wu), who makes a living by delivering cars for others, encounters Molly (Karen Mok) hitchhiking on the highway. Developing feelings for Molly, he follows her to find her "gangster" boyfriend A Dong (Zhang Zhenyue). Soon, the two witness A Dong engaging in "black-on-black" crime, and Xiao Wang unfortunately becomes A Dong's hostage.
