In the quaint town of Thames in England, sunny youth Chan Ka Lok (played by Hung Tin Chow) is studying and working here. His father, Chan Tin Lai (played by Hung Kam Po), is one of the inheritors of Nan Quan—Choi Lee Fut kung fu, and not only has he opened a kung fu school in his hometown but has also spread this excellent traditional martial art around the world. Naturally, Ka Lok has received some teachings from his father and has thus befriended a Japanese youth, Lieutenant Takeda (played by Koji Kobayashi), who also has a passion for martial arts. One morning, a gang causes trouble at the restaurant where Ka Lok and Takeda work, and the two intervene, only to be fired by their boss as a result. Shortly after, Ka Lok accepts his father's suggestion to return to China, while Takeda accompanies him out of admiration for Choi Lee Fut kung fu. Meanwhile, the Chen family's long-standing yet unremarkable kung fu school is facing a test as the wealthy Pan-American Group intends to acquire it. As one of the inheritors, how will Ka Lok choose...?
