A collector inadvertently acquires the sacred treasure, the Buddha Gold Vase, originally belonging to the Potala Palace. The Potala Palace sends Lama Wangla (played by Yuan Biao) to Hong Kong to meet with the collector and retrieve the treasure. However, news of the treasure's return spreads quickly and reaches the ears of the red sect leader, Rosang, who schemes to steal the gold vase and use its magical powers to fulfill his ambitions. Wangla meets with the collector's代理律师, Qiu Shengnan (played by Li Jiaxin), but when they arrive at the collector's home, they find the collector has already been killed by Rosang, who arrived first and has taken the gold vase. Wangla must not allow Rosang's plot to succeed, and a fierce battle ensues between the two. Unfortunately, Wangla is outsmarted by the cunning Rosang and is captured with his life hanging by a thread. At that moment, a telepathic connection forms between Rosang and Qiu Shengnan, unleashing a tremendous power.
