Peter (Pierce Brosnan) was once a CIA operative known as "The November Man." He is steady, skilled, and deeply trusted by his superiors and colleagues. However, Peter grows weary of the constant violence and hiding, and he works hard to retire, hoping to remain anonymous in a quiet place for the rest of his life. But fate has other plans when a woman named Alice (Olga Kurylenko) enters Peter's life. Alice possesses evidence regarding a conspiracy from decades ago, and her life is now threatened by the CIA. This conspiracy is deeply intertwined with Peter's past. To protect Alice, Peter becomes an opponent of his former agency, and the CIA retaliates by sending Peter's former apprentice David (Luke Bracey) to take them down.
