Nineteen-year-old girl Rui (played by Yuriko Yoshitaka), wandering the streets of Shibuya, Tokyo, is filled with despair about life. One day, she encounters punk youth Ama (played by Kengo Kora) at a disco. Ama, with piercings and a split tongue, has a fashionable and avant-garde style. Under Ama's introduction, Rui becomes considerably interested in the split tongue. They visit tattoo artist A-Chai's (played by ARATA) small shop together, where the pain of piercings and tattoos allows Rui to experience unprecedented pleasure, and the bisexual tattoo artist A-Chai, who has a tendency for sadism, becomes fascinated by this petite girl.
