While on vacation, police officer Darren (Aaron Kwok) and his friend and partner Alex (Wang Leehom) attend a fashion show for Alex's girlfriend and witness a murder. The two immediately cancel their vacation and dive into the investigation. During the investigation, they discover the case is extraordinarily complex, involving a massive crime organization based in a southern city on the mainland. After arriving in that city, they meet international police officer Norika (Norika Fujiwara), who is undercover to investigate a case involving an international crime organization. In order to lure out the big fish, Norika takes a risk by disguising herself as a model on the runway, while Darren and Alex observe from the shadows. When they finally confront their target and a gunfight ensues, Alex tragically gets shot and killed. Devastated, Darren vows to eliminate the gang, and he and Norika gradually develop feelings for each other.
