Senior detective Captain Goo In-ho (played by Song Kang-ho) receives intel about a plane terror attack, and during the investigation, he discovers that suspect Yoo Joon-suk (played by Lim Si-wan) has secretly boarded the flight. He is further alarmed to find that his beloved wife is also on the same flight, increasing his anxiety. Yoo Joon-suk releases a biochemical virus at 30,000 feet, causing passengers to die one by one in mysterious ways. Although he is successfully subdued by the kind-hearted father Park Jae-hyuk (played by Lee Byung-hun), who suffers from a fear of flying, the deadly virus continues to spread on the plane. At this point, a response center led by Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Sook-hee (played by Jeon Do-yeon) is quickly established, but unfortunately, no effective solutions emerge from the collaboration of various government departments... The 150 surviving passengers are trapped in the cabin, turning into a biochemical bomb, while the fuel runs low and everyone’s lives hang in the balance! Should they risk a rescue to make an emergency landing, or shoot the plane down to prevent the virus from spreading globally?
